Valma Mae ‘Val’ Skyring was born on 30th May, 1932 and passed away on 9th November, 2022.
Aged 90 years. Late of Svensson Heights. Passed away at Riverlea Nursing Home on November 9th, 2022. Beloved wife of Peter. Dearly loved mother & mother-in-law of Leith & Mike and Kees & Chris. Loving grandmother of Christopher, Myles, Chantelle, Lauren (dec’d) and great-grandmother of Tehlia, Kiara, Rhiannon, Sebastain and great-great-grandmother of Andreas. Dearly loved daughter of Alex & Mabel (both dec’d). Loved sister of Phyllis, Alan (dec’d), Patricia and aunt of their respective families.

I played Mah Jong in more recent years with Val at U3A but prior to that I would have played against her at golf.
I was a pleasure to have her pass through my life.
