Valerie ‘Val’ Mavis Manning

Late of Miller Street, Norville, and formerly of Goodwin Street.
Val passed away at home on April 14th, 2025, aged 90 years. Beloved wife of Ron (dec’d). Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Derek & Akiko, Glen & Kathy, and Joanne & Kris. Cherished grandmother of Aish, Eden, and Hanako. Dear daughter of Robert and Helena Johnstone (both dec’d). Loving sister of Cora, Phyllis, Dorothy, Colin, Dulcie, and Elva (all dec’d) and sister-in-law. A much-loved aunt to Teena, Ivan, Douglas, Calvin (dec’d), Robert, and Cameron.

Relatives and friends of Valerie and her family are respectfully invited to attend her Memorial Service to be held in The Chapel, ‘Branyan Gardens’, Cummins Road, Branyan on Thursday, April 24th, 2025, commencing at 3:00pm. In honour of Val’s vibrant spirit, colourful attire is welcome.

Derek, Glen and Joanne. So sorry to hear of your mums passing. She was a wonderful friend and neighbour to us during living in Morshead Sreet. I always enjoyed talking to her and and listening about all you three. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this sad time and sorry we could not attend her service as we were away.
