Shirley May “Shirl” Oakman was born on 4th June, 1941 and passed away on 24th February, 2024.
Aged 82 years. Late of Childers and formerly of Wagga Wagga. Passed away at the Childers Hospital on February 24th, 2024. Beloved wife of Geoff (dec’d). Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Ian & Tracey, Heather & Greg, Evan & Jo and Jenny & Gary. Loving grandmother of Connor (dec’d), Fraser, Katie, Zachary, Ella, Jakariah, Steven and Tracy-Lee. Dearly loved daughter of William & Vera (both dec’d), Loved sister of Jean (dec’d), Margaret and loved by their respective families.

Relatives and friends of Shirl and her family are respectfully invited to attend her Funeral Service to be held in The Chapel, “Branyan Gardens” Cummins Road, Branyan on Monday, March 4th, 2024 at 11:00am.

We sincerely regret the family,s loss Shirley was a very dearly loved friend of ours & we will miss her valued company She will always be in our thoughts a thoughtful talented & outgoing person who never failed to impress us with her ability to tackle every thing with enthusiasm Shirley,s ability will surly have been past on to the family Shirley & I were born in the same year & were married just one week apart We Positively regret not being able to be at the service to say good buy apart from the family,s obvious loss I would rather like to think that both Shirley & Jeff will be back together again if that thought is at all possible rest in peace you beautiful person .
