Thinking of family and Sending condolences
Thinking of you Marion and Ian and remembering Shirley from BGH days. RIP Shirley.
A person who devoted her life to nursing, and will always be remembered by any nurse that came in contact with her , for her knowledge and kindness.
Such a life span you have enjoyed! Always remember Shirl from Ward 2 at the General Hospital. So long ago. Condolences to her family,
My friends and I all remember Miss Kidd who was the Matron of the PAH when we trained there (1977-1980). All of us have memories of her and pass on our condolences to her family and friends.
Thank you Jenny.
Thank you, Kay and Bruce. You would have lots of memories Kay.
Deeply regret being unable to attend Shirley’s funeral. Shirley was a special person who devoted herself to her nursing profession and was always supportive and fair to those under her tutelage. A valued friend held in deep affection and high regard.
I trained at the PAH from 1986 – 1989. Miss Kidd instilled a fear of God in us all, but I’m still a great nurse because of her!
Matron Kidd was my Matron at the PAH when I did my initial training, and I met her again several times in the post Patel era. She was a legendary nurse and dedicated her life to nursing. I thank her for her service to nursing and her commitment to the profession. Condolences to the family.
