Shirley Avenell Greenhalgh was born on 6th November, 1926 and passed away on 28th December, 2024.
Late of Bayliss Road, Sharon. Shirley passed away at the Friendly Society Private Hospital on December 28th, 2024, aged 98 years. Beloved wife of Ronald (dec’d). Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of John, Adrian & Shelley and Judy & Jurgen Lebang. Loving grandmother of Laura, Carly, Aleena, Nathan, Thomas, Madeleine, Sophie and great-grandmother of Theo and Toby. Loved sister of Betty (dec’d).

Our deepest sympathy to you John, Adrian and Judy. I have lots of memories about your Mother and her relationship with Mum . The most vivid would be the hours that they spent on the phone with each other discussing the rights and wrongs about every conceivable thing. I was also very privileged to have the honour of modeling her wedding dress at a fund raising function at Millaquin House. Your Mother also had a great influence on me and my siblings when she was our Sunday School teacher at Sharon. Selwyn and I so sorry that we unable to attend the celebration of her life.
