Ronald George Downes was born on 19th January, 1942 and passed away on 24th May, 2025.
Late of Meilene Residential Aged Care Home, Bundaberg. Ronald passed away peacefully on May 24th, 2025, aged 83 years. Beloved husband of Judy (dec’d). Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Ricky & Jodi and Trudy (dec’d) & Darren. Loving ‘Granddy’ of Cara, Nathan, Lachlan, Addison, Andrew, Cassandra and great-grandfather of Charlotte, Harvey, Joseph, Annalise and Nicholas. Dearly loved son of Clarence & Dorothy (both dec’d). Loved brother and brother-in-law Gladys & John (both dec’d), Keith & Doreen (both dec’d) and Frank (dec’d) & Robyn. A much loved uncle.

A private cremation for Ronald will be held, as per his wishes.
It so sad the passing of Ron , he will always remain in our heart. We did have some great times with Ron and Judy. The girls will alway be blessed to have them as the God parents.
