Robert Allan ‘Rob’ Matthews was born on 7th August, 1954 and passed away on 19th August, 2025.
Late of Plum Tree Crescent, Moore Park Beach and formerly of Gippsland and Morwell, Victoria. Rob passed away on 19th of August, 2025, aged 71. Beloved partner of Michelle. Dearly loved father of Luke, Leah, Coopa, Jessica and Brittney. Loving Pop of Hudson, Amelia, Isabella, Remy, Elara and Ayla. Much-loved son of Norman & Eileen (both dec) and son-in-law of Wayne & Diane Bishop. Loved brother of Gary (dec), Ian, Mark and a proud uncle to many. Rob wasn’t just family; he was a mate to everyone. Well known for his big laugh and his big heart. Rob had a way of making friends everywhere he went, he leaves behind memories that will live on in every story, joke and cheer raised in his name.

A Private Cremation for Rob will be held as per his families wishes.

I went to Morwell Tech over 50 years ago….one of the funniest people you would ever meet…..sad to here of his passing….condolences to all of his family…..one things for sure…he will have them laughing up there when he arrives….RIP Doc……..Ron…..

Luke formed a pretty close
mate ship with Rob and he called in home many of time and was a true gentleman and Luke will miss his calls and laughs
