Late of Leivesley Street, Bundaberg and formerly of New South Wales. Richard passed away surrounded by his loving family on October 22nd, 2025, aged 68 years. Beloved husband of Julie. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Ricky and Melanie (dec’d) & Paul. Loving grandfather of Taylor & Mathew, Brittney & Dayne, Dominique, Mackenzie & Rixon, Indianah, Amira and great-grandfather of Willow, Armani and Oakley. Dearly loved son of Richard Townsend (dec’d) and Shirley Duplock and son-in-law of Ken & Sylvia Pearson (both dec’d). Loved brother of Laurie (dec’d) and uncle of Suzie, Ethan and Keiron.
