Peter ‘Poita’ James Ellis was born on 8th November, 1949 and passed away on 9th September, 2025.
Late of Anderson Street, Bundaberg and formerly of Nambucca Heads, Newcastle and Werribee, Peter passed away peacefully on September 9th, 2025, aged 75 years. Beloved husband of Virginia (dec’d). Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Kate and Susanne & Grayson. Loving pop of Cohen and Eden. Dearly loved son of Sidney & Beatrice (both dec’d) and son-in-law of Vincent & Elizabeth (both dec’d). Loved brother and brother-in-law of Ann & Jim (dec’d), Patrick & Wendy, Blue & Terry and Gerard & Leonie. Peter was also a loved uncle and a great friend to many.

Relatives and friends of Peter and his family are respectfully invited to attend his Funeral Service to be held in The Chapel, ‘Branyan Gardens’, Cummins Road, Branyan on Wednesday, September 24th, 2025, commencing at 10:00am. Prior to a Burial at the Bundaberg Catholic Cemetery, Fitzgerald Street at 11:30am.
