Late of Elliott Heads and formerly of Goodwood Road and Rexs Road, Alloway, Joe passed away unexpectedly on June 28th, 2026, aged 97 years. Beloved husband of Irene (dec’d). Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Michael & Pauleen, Janet & Raymond, Geoffrey, Monica & Ian. Loving ‘Grandad’ of Sarah, David, Matthew, Jessica, Melita, Sam, Josh, Daniel, Jacob, Adam, Marie, Liana, Emily, Joanna and great-‘Grandad’ of Corben, Isabelle, Lucille, Hudson, Austin and Adalyn. A much loved brother of Connie and Ben, also John, Kate, Dorothy, Bess and George (all dec’d).

Relatives and friends of Joe and his family are respectfully invited to attend his Funeral Service to be held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Barolin Street, Bundaberg on Monday, July 13th, 2026, commencing at 10:00am, prior to interment at the Bundaberg Catholic Cemetery.
Rest in Peace Joe. I will always remember you as a kind, gentle, soft spoken gentleman with a smile. Thank you for being part of my childhood memories through your friendship with the Duffy family – the adventures on the caravan trip across Australia, water skiing at Sandy Hook, and the numerous card group nights. Enjoy eternal rest and celebrate being reunited with your loved ones in Heaven.
