    1. Thankyou Pam and John for your kind words and support We do have lots of fond memories and formed bonds with Thelma and her family.

  2. Thelma was one of the best nurses in the Bundaberg district. I worked with her at the Base in the 80’s.
For that beautiful smile she possessed, she was able to win over even the toughest CEO.
So sorry to hear of her passing. I will always remember Thelma as a person who always thought of others less fortunate than herself.
Thinking of Alan at this time. Regards Glennis Goodman.

  5. Dear Thelly.
What a legend, one, who is so loved by many of us who have been fortunate to cross your path. You were always kind and compassionate to everyone. Your beautiful smile was so warm and comforting. I first met you in the very early days of The Blue Nurses home care way back in the sixties when you and Edna Stokes provided care for my mum Doreen White. Your sense of humour and (Yes) devilment provided many laughs among your patients.
To all in the Gardiner and Dooley families our deepest sympathies at the loss of someone so precious. May happy memories provide you with comfort during this sad time.

    1. Dear Maree,
Thank you kindly for your condolences and lovely memories of Thelma. And thank you for your kindness towards Thelie on all those occasions that you cared for her in your salon and in the pharmacy.
We hope you are recovering well from surgery. Looking forward to chatting in the future.
God bless you and keep you.
      John & Jane

  9. Rest in peace Thelma Florence Dooley. You certainly made this world a better place.
Thinking of you and your beautiful family today💖💖💖DDC&L

  10. Our best wishes for Margie & her family & extended family. When Claude started courting Thel, it came with a stamp of approval from my protective parents, who knew Thel & always had Margie’s best interests at heart. To join the Dooley clan was no small feat & Thel, as always, took in her stride. Her passing, whilst years apart, was 2 weeks before Claude. A great team.
