Shirley Irene Heidke was born on 20th July, 1931 and passed away on 9th January, 2024.
Aged 92 years. Late of Yarella Place, Maryborough and formerly of Bundaberg. Passed away peacefully on January 9th, 2024. Beloved wife of Jim (dec’d). Dearly loved mother & mother-in-law of Roslyn & Kevin, Gail & Trevor, Karen & Alex. Loving ‘Nanny’ of 9 and great-grandmother of 27 and great-great-grandmother of 2. Dearly loved daughter of Edward & Annie Schasser (both dec’d). Loved sister & sister-in-law of Alfred & Melva (both dec’d) and aunt of their respective families.

A private cremation was held for Shirley at ‘Branyan Gardens’, Bundaberg Crematorium.

I met Shirley when I joined the Bundaberg Bowls Club. Shirley was a lovely lady, a great bowler representing our club and Queensland. Her name is on our honour board. RIP SHIRLEY. Carol Marcinkus
