Richard “George” Shorten

Richard “George” Shorten  was born on 15th September, 1934 and passed away on 21st November, 2023.

Aged 89 years. Late of Kepnock, and formerly of “Ocean View” Dayboro, and Redcliffe. Passed away on November 21st, 2023. Beloved husband of Ethel (dec’d). Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Linda & Bob, Estelle & Rick, Ken & Sharyn, and Nev. Loving grandad and Poppy of Cassie, Temira, Katherine, Shane, Michael, Travis, Matt, Dan, Tiffany, Chantelle, Racheal, and 21 great-grandchildren. Dearly loved son of Edward & Gladys Shorten (both dec’d). Loved brother of Shirley, Daphne, Charlie, Ron, Viv (Butch), Rod; also, Ted, Jack, and Jim (all dec’d). Brother-in-law of Bob, Phyllis, and Anne and loved uncle of their respective families.

Relatives and friends of George and his family are respectfully invited to attend his Funeral Service to be held in The Chapel, ‘Branyan Gardens’ Cummins Road, Branyan on Wednesday, November 29th, 2023 at 2:00pm.
