Norman George ‘Norm’ Bates  was born on 29th December, 1934 and passed away on 6th December, 2022.

Aged 87 years. Late of Argyle Village and formerly of Granville, NSW. Passed away at the Bundaberg Base Hospital on December 6th, 2022. Beloved husband of Sylvia. Dearly loved father & father-in-law of Deborah, Susan & John, Glennis & Peter and Colin & Michelle. Loving ‘Poppy’ of Matthew, Alan, Michael, Scott, Kristy, Stephanie, Alec, Shannon and ‘Little Poppy’ of Chloe, Ethan, Emilia, Caiden, Ella, Abby, Amelia, Luca, Banks, Aurelia and Poppy. Dearly loved son of Leslie & Edna (both dec’d). Loved brother & brother-in-law of Merven & Mary, Heather & Jock (all dec’d) and loved uncle of their respective families.

  1. My sincerest condolences, Glennis and family. Glennis as always you gave 150% of dedication to caring for both of your parents. And only thought of your dad and giving him a voice You made the hospital staff , do what they should of been doing, and you didn’t care how much you had to fight , for your dad, as long as he was comfortable. Your dad loved you so much Glennis. He loved your mum, excately how a man should.
