June Ailsa Nelson  was born on 13th May, 1949 and passed away on 18th March, 2022.

Aged 72 years. Late of Bolton Clarke Fairways and formerly of Gardiner Court. Passed away peacefully on 18th March, 2022. Beloved wife of James ‘Jim’. Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Paul & Chantele and Miranda & Michael. Loving grandmother of Taylor, Caitlyn and Abigail. Dearly loved daughter James & Alma (both dec’d). Loved sister and sister-in-law of Bill & Charmaine, Elaine & Steve, Marge & Andrew, Diane, Colin and Moon, Ron, Avril (dec’d), and loved by their respective families.

A Funeral service for June will be held at The Chapel, ‘Branyan Gardens’, Cummins Road, Branyan on Thursday, March 24th, 2022 at 12:30pm.

It is a State Government requirement that you present evidence of COVID Vaccination if you are attending after-service fellowship on the Garden Terrace.

  1. Dear Jim, Paul, Miranda and family. Please accept my heartfelt condolences at June’s passing. I was shocked to see the notice. You may not remember me, from Walkervale School days. I was friends with June through tuck shop and various committees. Until a few years ago I would see June while shopping at Coles. My memories of June are such fond ones. My thoughts are with you you.

I have know June over many years as our children went to Walkervale School & June was always so friendly, it was June who introduced me to clogging, to read this message today was very saddening, we will be thinking of you at this sad time.     I was shocked and very sad to read this notice today. I first met June at Walkervale pre-school. We connected again at Clogging. A lovely, lovely lady who always had time for a chat. My condolences to you all. So sorry for your loss.

June and i have been friends ( my first) since primary at South school and still remained good friends right up to her passing. May you all find comfort in knowing she is at peace.     Our dancers and I were very saddened to hear of June’s passing.
    I feel very lucky and privileged to have known such a lovely lady and even more so to have had June as part of our Clogging dance family for more than 20 years.
