  5. Joe was many things to many people but to me he was my mate, my best mate.
We worked on so many projects together and of course Di just loves her high fence.
Steaks at Hogs Breath, coffee on the verandah.
Football nights were memorable, friendly rivalry over the pool table was legendary. And of course the tennis matches! How we loved to lick our younger opponents even if the next day we had to check how we both were holding up.
So until Joe and I meet again for our next tennis match when we are really are younger and fitter, I will remember Joe as a mate, a diamond of the first order.
    Bernie and Di
