James Allen ‘Jim’ Anderson  was born on 27th April, 1927 and passed away on 14th June, 2024.

Aged 97 years. Late of Melaleuca Road, Tantitha and formerly of Moorland. Passed away on June 14th, 2024. Beloved husband of Eva. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Helen & Glen and Peter & Melinda. Loving ‘Pop’ of Amy, Kelsie, Tasmin, Indianna, Breanna and great-‘Poppy’ of Hayley, Charlie, and Huey. Dearly loved son of James & Ellen Anderson (both dec’d). Loved brother of Norm, Bill, Len, Ray (all dec’d) and Noela. Much loved uncle of their respective families.

Relatives and friends of Jim and his family are respectfully invited to attend his Funeral Service to be held in the Chapel, ‘Branyan Gardens’, Cummins Road, Branyan on Thursday, June 20th, 2024 at 10:00am.

  1. So Sorry Eva and all the family we will not be able to attend Jims funeral as Nev has had foot surgery 9 weeks ago and we have another 3 weeks before it is fully healed. It was such an honour to have known Jim He was such a gentleman and all our love goes to Eva and all the family. From Nev and Daph Beeston.

I only hope that I have the right Jim, I sincerely send my condolences to Jim’s family, I remember jim and his father Jim who lived in Burnett Street, they both were great friends of an uncle of mine Les Steindl who was a men’s barber, all used to have a beer at Elma Ing’s Melbourne Hotel, please accept my sincere condolences, Tom Steindl.
