  9. Dear Lyn, Jo, Chris, Deb and Darryl. Thank you for allowing us to say goodbye to Arthur as all your family got together for the last time just a few weeks ago. We cannot get across the border but please stream to us if it is available.
We first met on the day we arrived in Monto in early 1975. At that time the Mackies lived with Arthur’s mother Jean in Leichhardt St. Arthur invited me to go fishing with him that day. 6 months later we formed the Monto Deep Sea Fishing Club at the Royal Hotel. This was the start of a 45 year friendship full of love, trust and respect that for us has no comparison and will continue for the rest of our lives. Arthur was a special man who had dreams and sufficient drive to turn many of them into reality. We are honoured to have been a small part of his life and of your lives. Till we meet again, fly high Arthur.

  10. Unfortunately I can’t make it to Bundaberg but I am thinking of and sending condolences to Lyn and family at this sad time. RIP Arthur.
