Minnie Kindt was born on 14th April, 1926 and passed away on 19th April, 2021.
Aged 95 years. Late of Palm Lake Care, Bargara and formerly of Woongarra Street, West Bundaberg. Passed away peacefully at the Friendly Society Private Hospital on April 19th, 2021. Beloved wife of Gordon (dec’d). Dearly loved mother & mother-in-law of Marjorie & Ivan, Philip & Sarah, Glenda & Andrew, Alison & Michael. Loving grandmother of Jane, Andrew, Mark, Linda, Brock, Robert, David and great-grandmother of Hunter, Flynn, Jack, Rohan, William, Brodie, Wyatt and Frankie. Loved aunt of her nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service for Minnie will be held at ‘Branyan Gardens’, Cummins Road, Branyan, FRIDAY, 30th April, 2021 at 1:00pm.

I always regarded Minnie as a family member of mine rather than just the mother of a mate. So sad to know she has passed.

Condolences to the Kindt family from Diane Porter on behalf of the Clarke family who were friends and business associates for many years with Mum ( Thea Clarke) and Minnie being close friends. We enjoyed Minnie’s company regularly once we all came to Bundaberg. So sad. Unfortunately Mum at 95 now has dementia and would not comprehend but we will truly miss Minnie. Rest In Peace lovely lady

Together we have thought of lots of memories of the Kindts and the Darnells, including even after moving away from North Bundaberg, Mum would deliver a dozen eggs every Friday afternoon along with the obligatory chat at the kitchen table. Marjorie especially remembers all of the lolly making that our mothers along with Mrs Milliken did together as fundraising for the church. They made tray after tray of fudge, jellys and coconut ice while Marjorie made the marshmallows.
When your mother moved to Warwick, our Mum still loved to keep in contact with regular phone calls. They were two “salt of the earth” ladies. Thanks for your lovely comments.

She was loved and beautifully looked after by the staff of Palm Lake Care. She was always treated kindly with the utmost respect and she was grateful for everything that was done for her. Minnie always loved ‘dropping in’ on Thea, and she was delighted to be included in Clarke family events. Our Mum absolutely loved going on drives with you and your mother, even if it was at short notice due to the circumstances. That was never an issue. Thea was a true friend to Mum, especially in the early days. Two country girls who formed a strong bond.
Thank you very much Rhonda and Phil. I have thought of you so so many times over the past year or two, but with my number one focus on Mum and her welfare, there simply weren’t enough hours in the day to pursue other interests. I look forward to returning to the fold of the Bundaberg Genealogical Association in due course. I value your message highly, and hopefully we will meet up again soon. Sincere regards Alison

Majorie. Philip Glenda and Alison so very sorry to hear of your loss. Every time I took Mum – to have her hair cut we would think or see your Mum. Lyndie Barry and I remember the fun we had as children with the Darnell Kindt and Milliken familes. Mum is staying with me for a while but wants to return to Bundaberg to live in the house at Moore Park. Our thoughts are with you all
