Mavis Jane Scherer was born on 20th January, 1924 and passed away on 31st October, 2022.
nee McFarlane. Aged 98 years. Late of Boreen Point and formerly of Argyle Gardens, Avoca. Passed away at Noosa Private Hospital on October 31st, 2022. Beloved wife of Erwin (dec’d). Dearly loved mother & mother-in-law of Bevan, Neil & Wendy and Peter & Vicki. Loving grandmother of Cameron, Alan, Amanda, Ryan and great-grandmother of Rory and Astra. Dearly loved daughter of Hugh & Julia (both dec’d). Loved sister of Betty, Jean and Desmond (all dec’d) and loved aunt of their respective families.

Relatives and friends of Mavis and her family are respectfully invited to attend her Funeral Service to be held at The Chapel, ‘Branyan Gardens’, Cummins Road, Branyan on November 8th, 2022 at 2:00pm.
Sometime pre 1983 Mavis made my lunch every day. Cafe at the back of the Palace Arcade. My special sandwich, which I still order including the instructions but it’s just missing the Mavis touch. Always sparkling and passing that on to all around her. Even more recent years seeing her at Sugarland.
