Mavis Isabel Berthelsen was born on 3rd August, 1927 and passed away on 9th May, 2023.
Aged 95 years. Late of Anglicare Kirami, Hervey Bay and formerly of Bundaberg. Passed away at Hervey Bay Hospital on May 9th, 2023. Beloved wife of Ritchie Berthelsen (dec’d). Dearly loved mother & mother-in-law of baby Peter Berthelsen (dec’d), John & Dell Berthelsen, Cheryl & Russell (dec’d) Mackie, and Kim & Mark Abercrombie. Loving grandmother of Adrian and Karen Berthelsen, Julie, Sonya and Melissa Mackie, Kyle and Flyn Abercrombie and loved great-grandmother of Lochie, Casey, Travis, Louise, Chloe, Jaidah, River, Maia, Tanja, Willow, Olive, Kyle, and Flyn. Dearly loved daughter of Alfred & Emma Schmeider (both dec’d) and daughter-in-law of Johan & Amelia Berthelsen. Loved sister to Alma, Glady, Marj, Eunice, Lorna, Hazel, Isa, Laurie (all dec’d) and much loved aunt of their respective families.

Relatives and friends of Mavis and her family are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service to be held in the Chapel, “Branyan Gardens”, Cummins Road, Branyan on Monday, May 15th, 2023 at 11:30am.
So sad to hear of Mavis’s passing. I remember her from the Rowers Club 24 yrs ago. She was such a gracious lady with a beautiful smile.
