Maurice Herbert James ‘Jim’ Blakeman was born on 14th January, 1939 and passed away on 4th December, 2021.
Aged 82 years. Late of Palm Lake Care, Bargara and formerly of Rochedale South, Brisbane. Passed away peacefully on December 4th, 2021. Beloved husband of Gayle. Dearly loved father & father-in-law of Scott & Brendan, Drew & Amanda and Samantha & Jason. Loving “Bu Bu” of Jay, Chynna and James. Much loved brother, brother-in-law and uncle of respective families.

A Funeral Service for Jim will be held at the Chapel, “Branyan Gardens”, Cummins Road, Branyan on Thursday, December 16th, 2021 at 11:00am.

Jim was a cheeky man with a heart of gold, he always kept us on our toes and was easily pleased with a strong cup of tea. I have very fond memories with Jim that I’ll cherish forever. It was a pleasure knowing him and being one of his carers til the end. Condolences to family. Rest in Peace Jimbob ❤️
