Maureen May Young  was born on 30th April, 1936 and passed away on 22nd August, 2025.

Late of Jacobsen Street, Norville and formerly of Sheffield, England, Maureen passed away on August 22nd, 2025, aged 89 years. Beloved wife of Ken (dec’d). Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Maureen & Bruno, Colin, Ken & Liz, Michaela (dec’d) & Eain and Kellie (dec’d) & Mark. Loving grandmother of Stuart, Daniel, Maureen, Carol, Rita, Doug, Carol, Stephen, Sarah, Staci, Matthew, Melissa, Catherine, Grady, Jessica, Sarah, Emily and great-grandmother of 29 great-grandchildren. Dearly loved daughter of Sidney & Harriet Adams (both dec’d). Loved sister of Sidney and Rita (both dec’d). Maureen was also a much loved aunt.

Relatives and friends of Maureen and her family are respectfully invited to attend her Funeral Service to be held in The Chapel, ‘Branyan Gardens’, Cummins Road, Branyan on Monday, September 1st, 2025, commencing at 1:00pm, prior to interment at the Bundaberg Lawn Cemetery (Hampson Street entrance).
