Mary Catherine Shailer was born on 30th September, 1931 and passed away on 12th August, 2025.
Late of Cypress Street, Avoca and formerly of Normanton, Kurumba and Bundaberg. Mary passed away on August 12th, 2025, aged 93 years. Beloved wife of Reg (dec’d). Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Kevin (dec’d), Paul & Sissi and Helen & Dale. Loved ‘MarMar Farm’ to her grandchildren Drew, Brogen, Trent, Megan, Hannah and great-grandchildren Jaxon, Mia, Kaleb, Ruby, Clay and Nate. Dearly loved daughter of Jack & Winifred Bryde (both dec’d). Loved sister and sister-in-law of Vince & Pat (both dec’d), Joan & Ian (dec’d) and Sister Jacinta. Mary was also a much loved aunt.

Relatives and friends of Mary and her family are respectfully invited to attend her Funeral Service to be held in The Chapel, ‘Branyan Gardens’, Cummins Road, Branyan on Wednesday, August 20th, 2025 commencing at 10:00am, prior to interment at the Bundaberg Catholic Cemetery (Fitzgerald Street).

So saddened to hear of Mary’s passing. She was such a lovely lady who was always so beautifully dressed ( have memories of visiting her dress shop Fifth Avenue with Mum many years ago .).
