Marjorie Belle Somerville was born on 16th January, 1927 and passed away on 18th March, 2025.
Late of Kalkie and formerly of Sydney. Marjorie passed away at Palm Lake Care, Bargara on March 18th, 2025, aged 98 years. Mother and mother-in-law of Peter & Marian (dec’d), Ian (dec’d) & Adele, Judith & Malcolm and Andrew & Pernille. Loving grandmother of Chris, Jack, Tim, Sam and great-grandmother of Elodie. Dearly loved daughter of Amy & Thomas.

A private cremation for Marjorie will be held, as per her wishes.
Sincere condolences to the family. I visited her recently and she still remembered me. She gave my mum an opportunity and acceptance many years ago. Lots of love to the family. Lovely memories.
Marjorie was lovely to look after in her home on bargara road. Before she moved to palm lakes. She tried to be independent as much as possible.

Very sad to read of Marjorie’s passing. She and her husband Don were a wonderful and very interesting couple and a joy to speak with. We remember them both from the map group we were, seeing them at a map conferences and staying with them at their beautiful home in Bundarberg. We saw Marjorie at her home in 2019 during our last trip along coastal Queensland.
