Late of Pioneer Lodge & Gardens, Bundaberg and formerly of Fairways Retirement Village, Bundaberg North, Mabel passed away peacefully on January 3rd, 2026, aged 103 years. Beloved wife of Noel (dec’d). Dearly loved mother & mother-in-law of Joanne & Greg (dec’d) and Christine & Geoffrey. Loving grandmother of Peter & Leiha, Emily & Reece and great- grandmother of Hugh and Harry.

Relatives and friends of Mabel and her family are respectfully invited to attend her Funeral Service to be held at Good Shepherd Anglican Church, George St, Bundaberg West on Tuesday, January 20th, 2026, commencing at 1:00pm.

So sorry for the family loss Jo, Chris, Geoff and family. Chris, you did so much for your mum. She did appreciate all the trouble you went even though not always showing. Loved the facetime of great grandies antics each week. Showed them off to us all the time.
Mabel you were the best.
Loved the footy and cricket. Talked of her growing up and times teaching many.
The mind was great, the body just wore out. Good to near the end.
Lovely to have had you in my lifetime.

So sorry to hear of your mums passing. We loved her so much as she taught our 4 children in Grade 1 at Walkervale State School. They all thought she was great. May memories of her comfort you all during this sad time.
