Laurence Gordon “Laurie” Semple was born on 1st August, 1926 and passed away on 21st September, 2023.
Aged 97 years. Late of Bundaberg and formerly of Monto. Passed away peacefully at Riverlea Aged Care on September 21st, 2023. Beloved husband of Alice (dec’d). Dearly loved father & father-in-law of Lyn & Frank, Neil & Sue, and Janelle & Gino. Loving papa of Nicole, Susan, Lee-ann, Teneille, Jared, Gypsy, Aiden, Clinton, Jordi, and great-papa of their respective families. Dearly loved son of Alexander Semple and Nellie & Edward Bryans (all dec’d). Loved brother & brother-in-law of Maureen, Bob, Greg (dec’d), Norm (dec’d) & Shirley, and much loved uncle of their respective families.

Relatives and friends of Laurie and his family are respectfully invited to attend his Memorial Service be held at the Bundaberg Presbyterian Church, cnr of Alice & Water Streets on Wednesday, 27th September, 2023 at 11.00am.
A thorough gentleman and will be sadly missed but gone home.
