Iris May Griffiths was born on 21st July, 1924 and passed away on 26th July, 2023.
Aged 99 years. Late of Peirson Street and formerly of Mackay. Passed away at the Bundaberg Mater Hospital on July 26th, 2023. Beloved wife of Sam (dec’d). Dearly loved mother & mother-in-law of Olive, Russell & Margaret, and Alan. Loving grandmother of 11, and great-grandmother of 1. Dearly loved daughter of Martin & Gurtrud (both dec’d). Loved sister of Joyce, also Richard, John, Eric, Edna, Mertyl, Gene, Till (all dec’d), and loved aunt of their respective families.

Relatives and friends of Iris and her family are respectfully invited to attend her Funeral Service to be held at the Good Shepherd Anglican Church, 201 George Street, Bundaberg West on Tuesday, August 8th, 2023 at 10:00am.
Dear Alan & family please accept our deepest sympathies for the sad passing of your dear mother. I remember the many chats we use to have while Iris was out watering her garden when you lived next door to us. Such a dear & loving lady. We will hold her & all your family in our hearts & prayers.
