Ian William Fred Edwards was born on 14th February, 1929 and passed away on 18th August, 2024.
Late of Bundaberg. Ian passed away on August 18th, 2024 aged 95 years. Beloved husband of Val. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Kay & Rod and Ann & Greg, with Peter (dec’d). Loving grandfather (Daddio) of Peter, Jacqui, Neil, Nicole, Nat, Carl and their partners. Great grandfather of Michael, Ashleigh, Ashanti, Drayden, Cooper, Lara, Lily, Lewis, Georgia, Katia, Aurora, Bryon, Charlotte, and great-great-grandfather of James, Eli, and Kaidyn. Dearly loved son of Gordon & Ivy Edwards (both dec’d). Loved brother and brother-in-law of Thea & Des, Shirley & Keith (dec’d), Bill & Erika and much loved uncle of their respective families.
It was Ian’s wish to be privately cremated.

So very sorry to hear of Mr. Edwards passing. He was my favourite teacher at East School, many years ago. Always up for a chat, whenever I saw him. A real gentleman. Sincere sympathy to his wife and family. ❤️

With deep sympathy to the family of Mr Ian Edward. Fond memories of Mr Edward’s as my teacher at East School. He was also an excellent photographer and took my wedding photos. A lovely teacher and gentleman.
