Henry Joseph ‘Harry’ Plunkett was born on 9th December, 1945 and passed away on 2nd September, 2025.
Late of Twyford Street, Avoca and formerly of Taree and Junee, New South Wales, Harry passed away on September 2nd, 2025, aged 79 years. Beloved husband of Christine. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Steve & Jodie, Dennis & Kirsten and Belinda & Darryl. Loving ‘Pop’ of Shianne, Dallas, Slater, Indy, Harry, Dusty, Billy and Shelby. Dearly loved son of Jack & Millie (both dec’d). Loved brother and brother-in-law of Peter & Toni, Geoff & Julie, David (dec’d) and John. Harry was also a much loved uncle.

Relatives and friends of Harry and his family are respectfully invited to attend his Funeral Service to be held in The Chapel, ‘Branyan Gardens’, Cummins Road, Branyan on Tuesday, September 9th, 2025, commencing at 10:00am.

I’m so sorry I couldn’t be there in person today but was honoured to attend via the livestream.
The words spoken about Uncle Harry truly reflected the man I remember — a true gentleman, kind, compassionate, generous. A Plunkett through and through with that cheeky streak. Above all, he always put his family first. What I’ll always hold close is how he made the effort to check in with me every so often and that meant a lot.
Please know I’m holding you in my thoughts and sending you all my love during this time.
