Edith Valerie Gayton was born on 23rd March, 1926 and passed away on 2nd April, 2022.
nee Goodman-Jones. Aged 96 years. Late of Gracehaven Nursing Home and formerly of Argyle Gardens and Montgomery Street. Passed away on April 2nd, 2022. Beloved wife of Ernest (dec’d). Dearly loved mother & mother-in-law of Graham & Kay and Dorothy & Keith Harrison. Loving and adored grandmother of Glen, Iain, Andrew, Byron & Sarah and Adrian & Lisa. Loving great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother of their respective families. Dearly loved daughter of Frederick & Dorothy Goodman-Jones (both dec’d). Loved sister & sister-in-law of Glad Lloyd-Jones, Viola Weston also Richard, Myrtle, Alfred, Desmond, Geoffrey (all dec’d) and loved aunt of respective families.

A Funeral Service for Edith will be held at Christ Church, Anglican Church, Cnr of Maryborough and Woongarra Streets on Wednesday, April 13th, 2022 at 1:00pm, prior to interment at The Bundaberg Lawn Cemetery (Johnston Street entrance).
Edith’s family convey their deepest thanks to Dr Strahan and the Staff at Gracehaven for their exceptional loving care of Edith.
