Colleen Valarie Bakes was born on 21st January, 1947 and passed away on 18th June, 2025.
Late of Clive Crescent, Kepnock and formerly of Warra. Colleen passed away on June 18th, 2025, aged 78 years. Beloved wife of Ray. Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Melissa and Scott & Sandi. Loving ‘Nanny’ of Abi and Kai. Dearly loved daughter of Powder & May Richards (both dec’d). Loved sister of Marjorie and Bernand (both dec’d). A much loved sister-in-law and aunt.

Relatives and friends of Colleen and her family are respectfully invited to attend her Funeral Service to be held at the Good Shepherd Anglican Church, 201 George Street, Bundaberg West on Tuesday, July 1st, 2025, commencing at 10:00am, prior to interment at the Bundaberg Lawn Cemetery.

Ray, My heart goes out to you and your family during this sad time. Colleen (Bonanza) was a special friend and I will cherish the memories we made together. One of my favourite memories is our many outings in the little green Austin A30 and the fun we used to have together.

Ray, Melissa, Scott and family. I was so sorry i couldn’t be at Colleen’s funeral yesterday. Unfortunately i had a fall at home. I have been remembering the many years that we were neighbours and the lots of good times we had of our families growing up.
