Many thanks for the live streaming of Betty’s funeral – a woman who I’d never met but new her daughter Christine and husband Craig and granddaughter Kristy. A beautiful Christian service with Psalm 23 explained which offered comfort and reflection on faith followed by listening to the Hymn, ‘How Great Thou Art’ set a reverent tone which honored Betty’s spiritual life.
The tributes highlighted many memories of Betty’s joyful spirit, all of which painted a vivid picture of Betty’s kindness, warmth, and the happiness she brought to others. I loved how the service concluded on a celebratory note with the lively song, “Riding Shotgun.” It showed the wonderful life that Betty led and left everyone with a sense of joy and gratitude for having known her.
Well done to all involved and may Betty rest in peace with those who have gone before her.
Thank you very much David for your caring and kind words.
