Adrian ‘Mark’ Searles was born on 29th August, 1960 and passed away on 10th December, 2021.
Dearly loved son of Trevor & Bernice Searles (both dec’d). Much loved brother and brother-in-law of Bernard, Jenny and Barb, Malcolm, Ross and Maggie. Much loved uncle of Catherine, Christopher and Mark, Ben and Alana. Especially loved by a multitude of cousins.

Amendment to Memorial Service.
In the light of the current COVID -19 situation there has been a change in venue and date for the celebration of Mark’s life.
It will no longer be held at 26 Barlow Street on Saturday, January 8th, 2022. Instead, we will be gathering together on Monday, January 10th, 2022 at 10:00am at the Chapel, ‘Branyan Gardens’, Cummins Road, Branyan.
The family requests that mask are to be worn and social distancing be practised where possible. In line with family wishes, Mark’s committal ceremony is being held privately at the Bundaberg Lawn Cemetery during the week leading up to Christmas.

Jenny, Bernard, Malcolm and Ross and your partners and families; our love and condolences on the sad loss of Mark from your lives. We have many happy memories of time spent with Mark, and he will live on for us in those memories. We wish you much consolation through YOUR happy memories. Mark’s presence was a blessing, now he his back among the angels having served his time on earth well… much love to you all…

Mark will be remembered as a gentle loving soul with a dash of mischief thrown in! He was certainly a blessing. Sending love and condolences to all his family and also to his carers.
Mark was always a beautiful young man. I have never forgotten when I used to ride my bike to St Patrick’s High School and Mark and his mum were standing outside waiting for Mark to be picked up. We would always wave to each other and often I would stop and have a chat. He would always have a smile on his face. Condolences to the whole family. He will be forever in your hearts.

Mark, my cousin, had a zest for life we should all envy. My memories are that he loved interacting, joking, and asking lots of questions. He had a curiosity about everything, was very creative artistically, and had a finely tuned ear and loved/lived music. He had a loving heart and was always a love magnet at family events and treasured by us all.
