  1. To Sam’s beloved Family.
Sorry we (Bear, Marie, Pauline & Ace, old friends from Sydney days)cannot be with you today to say farewell to a great mate & character.
Marie, Hooky and Sam used to go to Aussie Rules at Macquarie Uni with Marie the driver home at some long hour well after the games had finished. In return Sam & Hooky used to come and watch Marie & Pauline (sister) play cricket mainly on the hill at Forysth Park (Nth Sydney)with their esky and encouraging comments much to the amusement of their team mates. Our dearest Brother – Mitch (who also enjoyed a good time with both Sam & Hooky)is in the congregation today.
