  16. Our condolences to Lorraine and all the family. Peter was an amazing community man. I want to make known how much of an integral part he was in the starting of school chaplaincy in Gin Gin 19 years ago. He was on the original committee for many years and organised a lot of fundraising through the Masonic Lodge with Bush poet nights, etc. Chaplaincy is just one of the many organisations he was involved in. Our community is a better place because of Peter.

  27. Auntie Lorraine, and cousins David, Michael and Pete,
Thinking of you all today and the days to follow. As a ‘Whitelaw cousin’ I have very fond memories of Uncle Peter and his endless patience in letting us ‘assist’ him in chores around Glen Eva during school holidays. I take great comfort in the belief that it is only ‘goodbye for now’ and not forever. All my love and prayers to you all.
