  1. Deepest sympathy to all the family. Our thoughts are with you all at this sad time.
Sorry we are unable to attend the service due to Rod having contracted CoV-2. We are so pleased none of you were effected with it after our lunch together last Thursday.
We missed our dinners with Peter at 2 Parkview Terrace when we sold and went up to Butchers creek to live. An interesting evening always.

  2. Such a beautiful service of loving words and memories celebrating Peter’s life. We feel lucky our paths crossed here in NZ on several occasions and his words of wisdom always welcome at The Table of Knowledge. Our sincere sympathies to you all.

  3. Peter and Dawn played a significant part in family life that they loved and cared for, with their many friends over these many years, and will be missed greatly.
Peter contributed greatly in his role in JM Group and the legacy he left when he retired was significant, given the issues we had to deal with at the time in HK and overseas of global property and financial crashes, they where very special, demanding times for us all and Peter was always there and with Dawn.
The peace and tranquility of Dragon Waters that brought your parents there in retirement, and gave them so much pleasure over these many years is envious, as it is a special place.
May the wonderful memories remain with us always, of the Collins family.

  4. I shall miss my uncle but I will forever remember him with enormous pride and affection. Love to Sara, Andria and families.

  5. Having known Pete for over 60 years have seen the change of a lovesick teenager who married my sister to the man he became a well loved brother-in-law whom will be sadly missed by my husband and I..

  6. I recall fondly my days with Peter, Dawn, Sara and Andria in the early 1980’s whilst Peter and I were on secondment from Jardine’s. We all battled through the rigors of life in Al Kobar, Saudi Arabia, when the Collins family kept my spirits up as a shackled bachelor. Then in 2016 we were delighted to have Peter visit us in Malta for a few days and were so fortunate relatively recently, to have shared some more very special moments. Peter was a wonderful and warm friend who shall be missed, especially each Christmas when we’d exchange greetings, as was begun by Dawn so many years ago. But as Andria said at the funeral I will raise my glass to him and only think of the happy memories – Goodbye old friend.

  7. Our deepest sorrow for the passing of Peter. He was a fatherly figure for us during our convergence in Saudi Arabia in the 1980s. Peter was my boss at the Olayan Group during Jardine Matheson’s presence in the development of the Mideast. My wife Mae and I are blessed to have been graced of his official sponsorship during our wedding in the Philippines in 1983. We’ve been dreaming of seeing Peter and Dawn again. The last time we saw each other, after they left Saudi Arabia in the mid ‘80s, was in Hongkong in late ‘80s. It’s been a long way and far in time. But, the memory of Peter have been and will always be fresh. We’ve been hoping to visit him in Queensland but opportunity eluded us.
We continue to hold his place as well as Dawn’s in our heart. We extend our deepest love to their family. We hope to cross your path sometime, God willing! In the grace the Lord Jesus Christ, we send you all our prayers!

  8. So sad. Only just found out. Remember Peter so well from the 1960’s at Rivington Lawrence & Co and then Adcock and Shipley Ltd both in Leicester
