  3. Dear Lindy and Fleur.
My deepest sympathy to you both on the loss of a wonderful man.
I shall miss seeing him sitting out the front of his home and hearing of his many stories of his days on the Murchison, his Shipbuilding and the Adori.
Watching him water his lawn and even putting water in his wife’s old Pressure cooker for the Ibis.
He was such a lovely Gentleman with a good and kind heart.
I am so sorry to not make his funeral, but I wish you all the best and my love and deepest condolences.
He was a dear man and he has left a gap in my life, but I will treasure the memories.
