  1. Lachlan McCurley first came into our life through scouts in Bundaberg
Lachlan was a leader and inspired others by example
The McCurley family has been family friends through scouts and the involvement of Lachlan and his brothers
mum talks of Lachlan and the different times that they would meet up and catch up with family gossip
Lachlan is remembered as a great young man with life to share

    1. Thanks for your kind words John. Lachie’s involvement in scouts was mentioned in our Eulogy. It was the beginning of his lifelong interest in the great outdoors along with the other McCurley boys. He had many fond memories of his days in scouts and I still have his scouting handbook with “Eagle Patrol” written on the front. We’ll miss him greatly. Say hello to your mum from us.
      Regards
      Cameron
