  7. Dear Harry and Nana,

My mum Nevia, Daniel and I are so sorry to hear about the loss of dear Jenny. We all have such fond memories of visiting your restaurant on a Saturday night and taking home your delicious chicken, fried rice, chow mein and prawn crisps. Our hearts go out to you both as we too know the pain of losing a beloved spouse and parent in death.

It has been 23 years now since my dad Joe passed away. Harry, it meant so much to us to have you and Jenny’s support at Dad’s funeral. Through that difficult time and the days and weeks that followed, I drew comfort from many beautiful Scriptures in the Bible. I particularly liked this Scripture in 2 Thessalonians 2:16,17 which says, “May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who has loved us and has given us through grace everlasting consolation and good hope, comfort and strengthen your hearts.” (New Catholic Edition of the Holy Bible).

May our Heavenly Father continue to support you both through this difficult time. We will keep you both in our thoughts and prayers.

    Warm Christian Love,
    Nevia, Daniel and Alina Bonaventura
