Ian Robert Gibson  was born on 4th August, 1935 and passed away on 26th May, 2024.

Aged 88 years. Late of Walters Street, North Bundaberg and formerly of Fairymead and Bingera Plantation. Passed away on May 26th, 2024. Loved partner of Marian. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Fiona & Bruce Hartnell, David & Sharon Gibson and Rob Gibson & Carolyn Waller. Loving grandfather of Lachie, Tim, Holly and Sam. Dearly loved son of Robert & Ella Gibson (both dec’d). Brother and brother-in-law of Jeanette & John Elliot (both dec’d) and uncle of Philip & Geoffrey Elliot.

Relatives and friends of Ian and his family are respectfully invited to attend his Funeral Service to be held in the Chapel, ‘Branyan Gardens’, Cummins Road, Branyan on Monday, June 3rd, 2024, at 2:00pm.

  1. Condolences to Marian and the rest of Ian’s family. I was fortunate to have met Ian and Marian years ago and to have their support and wisdom available to me. I’m thankful for having known Ian, may he rest in peace.

  2. Will miss you cousin. So sorry we can’t be there for the funeral. Our sympathies to all the family. Ian has been in my life for as long as I can recall. I do remember that I wanted to marry him when I was about 6.Love to all the family from Roly and myself.
