Dorothy Jean Strathdee was born on 13th September, 1928 and passed away on 8th January, 2020.
Aged 91 years. Late of Millbank Village Aged Care and formerly of Peace Street, Bundaberg. Passed away peacefully on January 8, 2020. Former “Administrator of Pioneer Memorial Home”. Dearly loved daughter of Robert “Gordon” & Emma Strathdee (both dec’d). Much loved sister & sister-in-law of Robert & Margaret Strathdee, Phyllis & Neville (dec’d) Johnson and Beryl & Joe Cheetham. Dearly loved aunt of their respective families.

My very sincere condolences to Rob and Margaret and families on the passing of Dorothy. Dorothy was a wonderful human, full of love and compassion for all. Dorothy remained non-judgemental in trying times and I deeply respected and admired her.

I knew Dorothy when she worked in the office of the old electricity company in Woongarra Street approx. 1954 and have known and respected her ever since. She lived her life for her Lord and Saviour and no doubt she is with Him now. You have lost a great family member but rest assured she is at peace. Our prayers are with you all.
