Brian Michael Black was born on 10th March, 1935 and passed away on 29th August, 2018.

Aged 83 years. Late of Totten Street, Bundaberg. Passed away peacefully at the Friendly Society Private Hospital on August 29, 2018. Beloved husband of Hazel. Dearly loved father & father-in-law of Warren & Diane, Graham & Angela, Sandra & Peter. Loving grandad of Jared & Renae, Eliza & Daniel, Celia & Callum, Murphy, Eden, Joseph, Courtney, Georgia and loving great-grandad of Chayse, Isla and Rhett. Loved brother & brother-in-law of May & Morrie Horsford (both dec’d), Eileen & Mick Bourke (dec’d), Fred & Jean Black (both dec’d), Les (dec’d) & Betty Black, Edward (dec’d) & Oriel Black, Ron (dec’d) & Jean Black, Errol & Vada Black (both dec’d), Neville Gorlick and loved uncle of their respective families. Cherished friend to many.

  2. Over the years that we worked & socialised together ‘Blackie’ proved that he was a very talented & supportive individual.
    The wonderful challenges we faced & overcame at Austoft, the meals with suppliers at Bacchus, to the fantastic weekends
    we shared at his beloved Boaga. A master fisherman, fiercly supportive of family & just a bloody good bloke. His legacy lives on in his very talented children & their families.
